AMAZING SMALL COUPLES UNIT! 2020 Rockwood Mini Lite 2104S Travel Trailer
The 2020 Rockwood Mini Lite 2104S is a great example of how much you can fit into a travel trailer without going to a much larger RV. With a smart floorplan, a slide-out and a full bathroom across the rear, the 2104S offers a comfortable setup for couples who want to travel without towing a huge trailer.
At 22' 4" long, the Rockwood Mini Lite 2104S is a very manageable size for getting into campgrounds and exploring Ontario. The trailer has a single slide-out that opens up the main living area and gives you considerably more usable space once you're parked and set up. The 2020 specifications list an unloaded vehicle weight of approximately 4,841 lbs, a 614 lb hitch weight and a GVWR of 6,774 lbs.
One of the things that makes the 2104S such an interesting floorplan is the way Rockwood uses the space. At the front is a Murphy bed that gives you a comfortable sleeping area at night while allowing the front portion of the trailer to serve another purpose during the day. You don't have to dedicate the entire front of the trailer to a permanently exposed bed.
The large U-shaped dinette is located in the main living area and gives you a comfortable place to sit down for meals, play a game or relax after a day outside. With the slide-out opened up, there is plenty of room to move around the living area, making the trailer feel much larger than its exterior dimensions would suggest.
The kitchen is located along the side of the main living area, rather than across the rear of the trailer. It gives you a practical cooking space with the appliances and counter space you need for preparing meals at the campground. The 2104S also includes a large refrigerator, making it easier to bring along food and drinks for longer camping trips.
One of the biggest advantages of this floorplan is the bathroom across the entire rear of the trailer. The rear bathroom gives you a generous amount of space compared with many travel trailers in this size range and provides a good separation between the bathroom and the main living and sleeping areas. It is a feature that can make a surprisingly big difference when you're spending several days or weeks in the trailer.
The Rockwood Mini Lite 2104S also gives you plenty of ways to enjoy the campsite itself. The 2020 specifications list a 17-foot power awning, exterior storage and an outside griddle prep area. The pass-through storage is useful for bringing along chairs, outdoor cooking equipment, hoses and other camping gear without filling up the inside of the trailer.
The 2104S also has useful onboard capacities for weekend trips and longer camping adventures. The 2020 specifications list a 58-gallon fresh water tank along with 30-gallon gray and black water tanks.
Rockwood Mini Lite trailers have long been popular with campers looking for a lighter alternative to a large conventional travel trailer. The 2104S is a good example of why. It gives you a proper bathroom, a comfortable sleeping area, a large dinette and a slide-out while keeping the overall trailer length at just over 22 feet.
For couples looking for a used travel trailer for sale in Ontario, this 2020 Rockwood Mini Lite 2104S is worth a closer look. The combination of the rear bathroom, Murphy bed, U-shaped dinette and slide-out makes this a very livable floorplan for weekend camping, road trips or longer stays at your favourite campground.
